Managing Director : Ibrahim Kamara -  BCBA, UKBA (cert), MSc, MSc, BSc (hons).

As the Director of Positive Behaviour Specialists, I am a dedicated advocate for Positive Behaviour Support, with a strong focus on delivering affordable and effective services to organisations, families, and local authorities. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioural Sciences and a Master’s in Psychological Sciences. My commitment to PBS is deeply rooted in both my personal and professional experiences, and my mission is to make PBS accessible and impactful for everyone who needs it.

With over 10 years of hands-on experience, I have supported adults, adolescents, and children with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and mental health needs. My specialisation in PBS was further reinforced through my second Master’s in Behaviour Analysis at the Tizard Centre, University of Kent.

My experience extends beyond theory. I  understand the challenges faced by families, teachers and staff at every level, from front-line workers to senior management. I emphasise a 'whole approach' to ensure that PBS is co-produced seamlessly integrated into every aspect. I am passionate about delivering personalised and creative solutions that empower individuals with complex needs to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Inspired by my own family connections, including my younger autistic brother and relatives with disabilities and complex needs, I founded Positive Behaviour Specialists to bridge the affordability gap for bespoke PBS support at home and in organisations/schools.

To ensure comprehensive and high-quality support, we have established an extensive network of specialised Master's level BCBAs/UKBA (cert)s and PBS associates across the country. This includes certified Behaviour Analysts, ABA tutors, and also Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.
