PBS Training for Schools

Our PBS school training is designed for teachers, teaching assistants, Senior Leadership Teams, and additional support staff, providing a shared, practical framework for managing behaviour consistently across the school.

Training is delivered using a three-tier PBS model and is tailored to the specific needs of each school. Prior to delivery, we assess the school’s priorities, challenges, and existing practices and integrate these directly into the training workshop.

What the Training Covers

• Foundations of school-wide Positive Behaviour Support (Tier 1)

• Targeted classroom and small-group strategies (Tier 2)

• Individualised behaviour strategies and support planning (Tier 3*m)

• Understanding behaviour through function, not labels

• Practical strategies staff can apply immediately in real school settings

Format

• 6-hour interactive training workshop

• For up to 14 staff members per cohort

• Engaging, applied teaching with real examples from school settings

• Open-floor discussions addressing the specific behavioural challenges staff are experiencing

The training emphasises consistency, shared language, and realistic strategies that can be implemented within existing school systems and resources.
